What are Wild Youth pieces made from?
All Wild Youth jewelry is crafted in 925 sterling silver or solid 19K Portuguese gold. We use recycled precious metals — no mining, no extraction. Every piece is handcrafted in a family atelier in Portugal that has been working with silver and gold for over a century.
Is your silver hypoallergenic?
Yes. 925 sterling silver is naturally hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin. If you have specific metal allergies, we recommend consulting your dermatologist.
Will my piece tarnish?
Sterling silver may develop a natural patina over time — this is normal and many people prefer the aged look. To restore the original shine, gently polish with the cloth included in your order. Gold pieces do not tarnish.
Is the gold real?
Yes. Our gold pieces are premium plated with solid 19K Portuguese gold. The 19K standard is the traditional Portuguese gold purity, slightly higher than 18K, giving a warmer, deeper tone.

Shipping

How long does delivery take?
Netherlands: 1–3 business days. Rest of Europe: 3–5 business days. International: 5–10 business days. Orders are usually shipped within 24–48 hours of being placed.
Is shipping free?
Yes — free standard shipping on all orders above €100 within Europe. For orders under €100, shipping is calculated at checkout based on your location.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. International shipping rates and any applicable import duties or taxes are the responsibility of the recipient and are calculated at checkout.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Once your order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking link. If you have not received tracking within 3 business days, please contact us.

Returns & Warranty

What is your return policy?
We offer 30-day easy returns. Items must be unworn, in original condition, and in their original packaging. To start a return, email us at hello@bywildyouth.com with your order number.
How long do refunds take?
Once we receive your return, refunds are processed within 3–5 business days. Depending on your bank, the funds may take an additional 3–10 business days to appear in your account.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. Every Wild Youth piece comes with a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects. If something goes wrong, we will repair or replace your piece. Normal wear, accidental damage, and loss are not covered.
How do I make a warranty claim?
Email us at hello@bywildyouth.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and a few photos. We will respond within 2 business days with next steps.

Care & Sizing

How do I find my ring size?
Every ring product page includes a size guide. The simplest method: measure the inner diameter of a ring you already wear comfortably, in millimeters, and match it to our size chart. If you are unsure, order the closest size — we offer free exchanges within 30 days.
Can I shower or swim with my piece?
Daily showering is fine. We recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to chlorine (pools), saltwater, harsh soaps, and chemical cleaners. Take pieces off before applying perfume or lotion.
How do I clean my Wild Youth piece?
Use the polishing cloth included in your order. For deeper cleaning, gently wash with warm water and mild soap, rinse, and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh jewelry cleaners.
How should I store my jewelry?
Store each piece in its individual pouch when not wearing, in a dry place away from direct sunlight. This prevents scratching and minimizes oxidation.

Every piece is crafted by a Portuguese silversmith family in the small historic town called Guimarães, where their craft has been passed down from father to daughter, and son to son, for over 120 years.

From the very first 3D sketch, to the delicate process of mold making, carving our textures, and hand polishing each detail. every step is curated with care. The result is more than just jewelry, it’s a piece infused with heritage, time, and soul.

We are proud to share this with you, because our vision is for you to feel a deeper connection to your own piece, as if it were always meant to be yours.

Fun fact. The amount of karats in a precious metal is the percentage that it contains. 19K gold contains around 79% pure gold which makes the color a bit richer/darker.

The Portuguese grandmother of our founder, Adam, always wore 19K gold, since that is the typical way of Portuguese jewelry. As a kid, he was always intrigued by the necklaces of his grandmother and loved the darker color.

This 19k gold is a heritage and memory that is being passed on.

Our planet has enough to endure. We wanted to make sure that no mining is taking place for the creation of our pieces.

We take our sustainability role serious, so we want to make a change however we can, starting with our own pieces and packagings.

Rather then buying new silver, we want old silver to get a new life so it stays alive
